Our Practice
Our practice exists to provide the highest level of dental care with the goal of improving our patient’s quality of life. It is our goal to improve not only their health but also their appearance in the most comfortable way possible. Dr. Peffly founded the practice in Madera in 1979, dedicating himself to becoming part of the community in Madera. It is our hope that you will experience the very best of dentistry in our state-of-the-art facility in Madera.
Dr. Peffly
Dr. Peffly graduated from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 1979. He then founded a practice in Madera, California focusing on esthetic dentistry. His passion for cosmetic dentistry has led him to continually update his education above and beyond state requirements so he can provide the most current, proven dental treatment. He has recently taken such courses as Posterior Aesthetics from the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, Anterior and Advanced Anterior Continuum in San Francisco, Advanced Hygiene Concepts, Premier Laser Systems, Experdent, and several ongoing study clubs involving orthodontics, cosmetic and implant dentistry.
Dr. Peffly is actively involved in dental missions around the world and locally. He has volunteered with sort-term medical and dental teams in many countries around the world through organizations such as Christian Medical Dental Association and World Medical Missions. There is a sense of satisfaction and adventure derived from practicing dentistry in these remote areas of the world, but these experiences have also caused Dr. Peffly to appreciate working in a clean, modern, efficient office in Madera.
Dr. Peffly is an active member of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and is specially trained and licensed in the safe and effective method of conscious sedation for adult patients.
When he is not improving the smile of patients, Dr. Peffly takes pleasure in helping friends, hiking, sailing, and carpentry. He and his wife, Jane, enjoy spending time with their two daughters, son-in-law, and three grandsons.

Dr. Peffly is joined by a team that is made up of exceptional people. Bringing enthusiasm and excitement to the office, the team operates with high standards and integrity. They are committed to making patients of our practice their first priority, wanting to help create a feeling of comfort and ease. The staff is also committed to excelling in their dental education, at times joining Dr. Peffly in continuing education classes. This helps ensure that the entire team can provide our patients with the highest level of dental care. Many of team members have been working our practice for more than 15 years!
